DAWN T. VU, O.D.

Dr. Dawn Vu is DEA licensed to prescribe oral and topical medications to treat eye diseases and infections. She also is licensed to treat and manage glaucoma. In addition, she has extensive experience with rigid gas permeable and multi-focal contact lenses. Dr. Vu earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California Riverside with a degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Vu had extensive internship training and practiced optometry at Camp Pendleton, Veterans Hospital of West Los Angeles and the Eye Care Clinic in Fullerton.

 

Dr. Dawn Vu has lived in Palmdale since 1990 and has been serving the Antelope Valley community as an optometrist since 2003. Dr. Vu specializes in iZON high definition lenses to provide patients with maximum quality of vision. She also manages ocular diseases and has a retinal camera to allow patients to see inside their eyes. Dr. Vu takes great pride in working with only the most experienced surgeons who use state-of-art technology. This is why she has chosen to work with Dr. Alan Berg in co-managing Lasik.

GARINEH NERSISYAN, O.D.

Dr. Nersisyan is a graduate of Southern California College of
Optometry. She received her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Physics
from California State University, Northridge in 2006. Her optometric
experience includes externships at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix,
Arizona and Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in West Los Angeles.
Understanding the importance and role of ethics in optometry, she was
the recipient of the Ethics Endowed Scholarship in 2008.

Currently she practices full-scope optometry in southern California.
In addition to primary care, pediatrics, and contact lenses, she is
glaucoma certified and licensed to treat ocular diseases. Dr.
Nersisyan is a current member of the American Optometric Association
and California Optometric Association. She is active in community
service and has volunteered as an optometrist for the Special Olympics
and participated in several vision screenings. In support of the
Foundation Fighting Blindness, she recently formed a team, "Dr.
Nersisyan's Fight for Sight" which participates in the annual
walkathon, VisionWalk.

In addition to English, she speaks fluent Armenian.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and
family, and enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Chris, and Great
Pyrenees, Leo.
